Besides being highly talented musicians, these three guys share Michelle's vision of showcasing the best artists that bring together elements of country, folk, American and roots rock.FAR FROM HOME covers everything from classics by Johnny Cash, Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Eagles, to alternative country tunes from the likes of Lucinda Williams, Kasey Chambers and Kathleen Edwards, right on down to New Country rockers from Gretchen Wilson and the Dixie Chicks. Its the kind of music you can imagine being played live in a smoky bar or “honky-tonk” in Texas somewhere, music that makes you want to get up and dance. We like to sum it up with the term “honky-tonk” country or simply: COUNTRY ROCK.  |
