Michelle is very happy to return to her musical roots with Far From Home. Her father Jim (Klondike) Conner was a Country-and-Western Music Producer, so she grew up listening to—and meeting—the likes of Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash and Loretta Lynn. She's also a fan of contemporary acts like Keith Urban, Pat Green, Allison Kraus, and Union Station. Michelle got her first guitar as a teen, and was the lead singer in a jazz band.
