Michelle Conner (lead vocals, guitar)
Michelle is very happy to return to her musical roots with Far From Home. Her father Jim (Klondike) Conner was a Country-and-Western Music Producer, so she grew up listening toand meetingthe likes of Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash and Loretta Lynn. She's also a fan of contemporary acts like Keith Urban, Pat Green, Allison Kraus, and Union Station. Michelle got her first guitar as a teen, and was the lead singer in a jazz band. She hails from Washington, D.C. She's currently working on co-writing some songs for the band with lead guitarist Robert .

John Griffith (drums, vocals)
Johnwho comes from N.J.-- took up the drums at an early age and grew up loving the country and southern rock groups of the early to mid 1970s. He takes his drum set with him wherever he goes. For the past 15 years he has played in a variety of rock and country bands in California, Taiwan, Lithuania, and now Germany. John listens to alternative country singers such as Emmy Lou Harris and since joining Far From Home has discovered a love for the Dixie Chicks.

Robert (lead guitar, vocals)
Croatian lead guitarist Robert brings more than a decade of experience spent as a guitarist, singer and professional sound man. His musical influences, from hard rock to classic rock and roll, and his accomplished solos are an important addition to the country band. He has also written a number of his own songs. Robert has a special love for 80's bands such as Dire Straits.

Dennis Rich (bass, vocals)
Bassist Dennis Rich of Chicago brings with him ten years of experience in diverse folk, rock, jazz and blues bands across the Mid-Western U.S. In particular, Dennis digs blues musicians from Chicago like Buddy Guy and Junior Wells, but also is drawn to Bluegrass/Newgrass greats such as Bela Fleck. And he also likes the Dixie Chicks!

Marija (violin, keyboard)
Marija, another croatian, has guest appearances and supports the band with her keyboard and violin. She brings country flair into the songs. Marija studied classical violin as a child and later played in the Munich “B” orchestra for several years. |
Stefan Größl (management, sound)
The only native Bavarian in the group, Stefan is responsible for gig scheduling, band organization and publicity, and mixes the live sound of the band. |
